BC Trails Day 2026

Join Chilliwack Park Society, Wildsafe BC, Tourism Chilliwack, Kent Search-and-Rescue, and AdventureSmartBC in the Community Forest for the annual BC Trails Day!

BC Trails Day is a day to foster awareness about responsible recreation and environmental stewardship while promoting access to and enjoyment of our provinces outdoor spaces. 💚

This year, we are teaming up to have an “open house” event in the Chilliwack Community Forest, on the traditional territory of the Stó:Lō people.

• When?: Saturday June 6th, drop in between 9am and 2pm. There will be a hot dog lunch at 1pm.
• What activities will there be?: self guided walks or mtb on the trails, learn about safety and preparedness, wildlife safety, and trail building and maintenance! Or just come out for a visit or hike one of the many trails in the forest. There will be information, treats, and swag!
• Who?: everyone is welcome! This is a family friendly event.
